Who built Testify ?
Mostly "Lovable" for this beta version, but the idea and concept is me.
I am Jonathan. I live in Paris with my wife and our 7-month-old son.
Professionally, I've spent most of my career building digital products and startups. I started my tech journey at Supaero with a car-sharing project, then continued at École Polytechnique and UC Berkeley (2015), where a student project called Zeta Tech — a system to help treat tinnitus — turned into a company.
I've worked on a range of projects since. I love the energy of hackathons and innovation. I worked for The Chosen in France, and co-founded TopMusic, a Christian music app. Today I work for Rejoice, a Christian and gospel audio streaming platform.
Over the last few years, I've become increasingly interested in the theology and philosophy of technology. I've found myself questioning the "move fast and break things" and transhumanist mindsets that shaped much of the startup world. My thinking now resonates with people like Tristan Harris and the Center for Humane Technology, and I love Praxis's redemptive framework for building.
My current side project is Testify — an attempt to help Christians discover and share 60-second testimonies of encounters with Jesus from around the world.
I'd especially love to connect with people thinking about:
- Theology of technology
- Humane and redemptive product design
- Digital witness and evangelism
- Building startups without sacrificing spiritual formation
